Contraindication: 

• Hemophilia, blood clotting problems (ie poor wound healing)

• Undergoing chemotherapy or immune therapy
• Connective tissue disorders / auto immune disorders (e.g. lupus)
• Long term use of Prednisone and other steroid medications (treatment will increase inflammation)
• Pregnant/Nursing
• HIV/AIDS
• Anticoagulants / Blood thinners (including but limited to Warfarin or aspirin)
• Nickel or stainless steal allergies
• Scleroderma
• Collagen vascular diseases
• Solar keratosis

Skin Rejuvenation:
Dermapen 4 is considered the most advanced microneedling device and is the

Pre-Procedure:
Time to allow before a Dermapen 4 treatment if you are having other treatments-

• 2-3 days: Waxing, threading, shaving
• 1 week: self-tanning/ spray, actives in skincare
• 2 weeks: Toxins, dissolvable dermal filler, superficial peels, microdermabrasion, IPL, laser
• hair removal
• 6 weeks: non-dissolvable dermal filler
• 8 weeks: Medium/deep peel, CO2 and other ablative lasers, radiofrequency

Recommendation:

• Rejuvenation*: 3-6 treatments 6-8 weeks apart
• Pigmentation: 4-6 treatments 2-4 weeks apart
• Acne scar : 6 sessions 4 weeks apart

*Superficial treatments maybe recommended at 4 weekly intervals
